Tomato seeds are processed today at specialized centers in Israel - (Hazera, Pioneer and others), using costly processes based on fermentation. The processes are labor and water intensive. INTER-NEVET developed a comprehensive assembly containing all the components of a seed processing line, as well as individual components of equipment. It is intended to reduce costs by increasing productivity, to improve the quality of processed seeds and to reduce rejections, while avoiding the fermentation stage. Business targets will include seed extracting enterprises, and also far away farms, adjacent to growing fields, to which smaller devices will be marketed.
