Plasma Model`s system is a 75kW power DC plasma spray system that provides superior quality ceramic coatings on surfaces of any size. This is achieved by using our core technology, the result of almost 30 years of extensive R&D.
The core technology is based on a high enthalpy plasma-chemical reaction involving a modulated plasma arc within a specially designed torch head. Highest parameters are achieved through a proprietary arc current modulation scheme and the specially designed torch head. Unique Plasma Model`s technology allows to controlling the size of sway particles on their way to a target surface. Traditional plasma torches use expensive argon/nitrogen/hydrogen mixtures. The supply and delivery of those gasses are often inconvenient and costly. Beside that, existing spraying technologies are limited in terms of deposition rate, quality of coating, coating porosity and coating density. Plasma Model developed a system that uses inexpensive air - fuel mixture to overcome these shortcomings.
