Spring Diagnostics was founded on March 1998, as part of the Technological Incubator at the Weizmann Industrial Park.
The company is developing a rapid, user friendly, identification system for pathogenic bacteria, and expects to become a world leader in this area. The company intends to produce and sell a series of markers that could be used either with relatively simple equipment, or with sophisticated automatic equipment. A patent application was filed on July 1999.
